Meet Dr. Alex Lendved

Alex Lendved

Dr. Alex Lendved serves as the Dean, Marshfield Campus and Agriculture & Natural Resources Programs at Mid-State Technical College. Alex Lendved holds a doctorate in educational leadership and management, a master’s degree in leadership, a bachelor’s degree in management, and an associate degree in business management. The Marshfield area Community Foundation Board opportunity was an easy choice for Alex. The idea of serving the communities we love to make a difference in the quality of life is a passion of Alex’s. Additionally, her personal values and professional responsibilities align well with the Marshfield Area Community Foundation’s mission to connect people who care with causes that matter. 

In addition to the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, Alex is an active member of various other community organizations including, Marshfield Rotary, Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth, Marshfield Area United Way, and the Collaborate & Create Makerspace. Additionally, Alex serves on Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committees such as the Leadership Marshfield Council and Crystal Apple Selection Committee. Alex is also a lifetime FFA Alumni Member. 

She has demonstrated leadership and community service through her involvement with the Chili Fremont Fire and Rescue Department, where she is a volunteer firefighter and first responder and currently serves as the service director and lieutenant. Alex also served as a combat medic with the 82nd Airborne division and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom VII and VIII. 

Alex grew up in the Marshfield area, graduated from Granton High School, and is a proud Mid-State Technical College alumna. While in high school, Alex participated in many clubs and activities including FFA, serving as vice president of community development, varsity basketball and volleyball, varsity club, and others. Along with her husband, Jon, and son, Aiden, she enjoys football, fishing, shooting trap, and the outdoors.
