Meet Dr. Anthony Andrews
Dr. Anthony D. Andrews Jr. graduated from York College with a B.A. degree in Political Science in 1990. In 1997 he earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College. In April 2017 he received his Doctorate in Education in the discipline of Executive Leadership, with a focus on social justice, from St. John Fisher University. When Anthony moved to Marshfield he knew about the work of the foundation and wanted to be a part of this initiative. The foundation is a cornerstone of the philanthropic work that is done in this city, and he’s excited to be a part of it!
In 1993, he returned to York College and was appointed as an Assistant to the President of York College-CUNY in the role of Director for Intergovernmental Relations and Community Affairs. He served in various roles at York College over the years, predominantly in the areas of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. He is also appointed as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences, teaching in the discipline of Political Science; although he has also instructed in the area of Student Development.
Dr. Andrews has been a guest speaker or panelist for several colleges including NYU, Cornell University, Penn State University, Bernard Baruch College and the Clinton School of Public Service, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has also facilitated conferences and workshops on leadership for faculty and staff at colleges such as Brooklyn College and instructed classes for labor leaders in the area of public speaking.
He is currently serving as the Campus Executive for the Marshfield Campus of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
