Brian Parker

Brian is a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist for the Marshfield Clinic Health System and the MSK Section Head for the system wide radiology department. Brian and his MSK colleagues interpret musculoskeletal (e.g. bone, joint, muscle) x-rays, ultrasounds, CT and MRI scans for patients throughout the entire Health System and perform joint injections on patients for pain relief.

Brian started his journey in medicine with a pursuit of science in college, where he tripled majored in Biology, Chemistry & Religion. Following college, Brian gained valuable medical research experience for one year at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD before attending medical school.

He is a native of Marshfield, WI, being born and raised in Marshfield and has returned to his hometown after his medical training. He has worked his entire Radiology career for the Marshfield Clinic Health System, as he has always felt that Marshfield is the ideal place to live and work.

Brian has volunteered time for nonprofit organizations by serving on the Advisory Council for Camp Luther in Three Lakes, WI and as President and Vice President for the local Marshfield Area Friends of the Trails. He has supported many project improvements in Marshfield, including Hardacre Park, the Wildwood Zoo Bear & Mountain Lion exhibits, UW STEM building, Vandehey Waters Aquatic Center, Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library and the Marshfield School District Athletic Facilities.

Brian wishes to see Marshfield grow and prosper and believes organizations such as the
Marshfield Area Community Foundation are important for sustaining healthy communities. He is thankful to serve on the Foundation where passionate and dedicated board members strive to improve Marshfield via the many grants, scholarships and projects the Foundation supports. Brian enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, boating, biking and exploring the beauty of nature.
