Jim Bartelt

Jim has an undergraduate degree in economics and a law degree. He moved to Marshfield in 1981 to take a position as a Trust Officer with what was then Citizens National Bank & Trust. Thirty-six years later, in 2017, he retired as the Manager of the Marshfield office of Associated Trust Company.

Jim is committed to any community involvement he assumes. He has been a member of the Marshfield Kiwanis Club for over 40 years. During that time, he has served as the club’s president and currently is a director and chairs the scholarship committee.

Jim currently is the chairperson of the ODC Foundation Board of Directors and has been an advisor to multiple nonprofits and foundations (including the Marshfield Area Community Foundation) through his position with Associated Trust. Jim willingly volunteers his time to help with special projects at the Foundation, especially those in which his educational and professional backgrounds, experience with the Foundation, and attention to detail are of particular value.

Jim has been with the Foundation in some capacity since its inception in 1993 and currently serves as an advisory member of the board of directors and a community member of the budget and finance committee. One of the primary motivations for his long-term involvement is the role the Foundation plays in allowing people to accomplish their charitable giving goals.
