Leslie Schoen

Leslie is the Program Assistant at the Marshfield Area Community Foundation. Leslie helps manage the day-to-day tasks at the Foundation. She is passionate about storytelling and hopes to shine more light on the work done here at the Foundation. Leslie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Though not currently practicing, her educational training and experience working as a therapist help form the foundation of how she thoughtfully approaches interpersonal interactions as well as larger systems thinking. Leslie served the community as a board member for the Hannah Center in 2017 and 2018.

Leslie is an entrepreneur, running her photography business for the past 11 years. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and caring nature establish trust with her clients throughout the community. In her professional work, Leslie raised money through special event photography sessions for both the Personal Development Center in 2018 and a local family in need in 2019. As a personal project, Leslie held a photography art exhibit celebrating Women of Strength in 2017.

Of all her various positions, raising her two daughters has always been front and center. Together they enjoy game nights, movies, cooking and baking, and traveling. Leslie also enjoys art-making, practicing yoga, and supporting her daughters in their sporting events.
