Children’s Future Fund

We want to spread the word that the Marshfield Area Community Foundation recently opened a new fund: The Children’s Future Fund. We did this for a few reasons. Most importantly, we want to make sure we have funds available to grant to the community which focus on supporting children in our service area. By creating a fund overseen by the Marshfield Foundation we are able to watch this fund grow and know we can utilize this fund through our grants process. Another reason we started this fund was to assist donors who specifically want their donation to serve children. They can be assured that their donation will go towards programs which benefit youth. We also wanted to work with people who want to donate some or all of their RMD (Required Minimum Deduction). People are unable to put their RMD into an existing donor advised fund. The Children’s Future Fund is a great option because this is a Field of Interest Fund. A Field of Interest Fund is a broad fund which focuses on an area of need, like children.
