MACFI’s Response and Updates on Covid-19
Based on recommendations by public health officials to limit the spread of Coronavirus, MACFI staff will begin working remotely. We appreciate your patience and support of these efforts to limit direct contact. Our top priority is the health and well-being of our community and our staff. We remain in close collaboration with local, regional, and national nonprofit partners to ensure we’re ready and available to mobilize resources, support and communications where and when they are most needed in our community.
We understand that many local nonprofits rely on distributions from MACFI endowments, and we are in the process of distributing over $65,000 from designated funds for their use. Likewise, our staff will be happy to help direct gifts from donor advised funds to organizations during this time. These are crucial times for these organizations to have resources available to them in order to serve the community. If you would like to support area families in need, consider donating to our Stock the Shelves Fund which supports local food pantries. Donations can be made through our website.
