2024 Spring Grants Complete

In July 2023 we implemented our grant portal. This process is very similar to the scholarship portal. It’s a streamlined process to help nonprofits complete a grant application in an easy and efficient way. We had 18 grant applications submitted in January. We summarized these grant applications to our donor advised and field of interest funds. Five of the grant applications were fully funded through our donor funds! These included the Auburndale community playground, Two Leadership Marshfield Projects including a project to promote mental health awareness and a hygiene drive for teens, and Companion Day Services. As well, the Greg & Sally Rindfleisch Fund for the Performing Arts supported grants for 2024 Hub City Summer Concert Series, South Beach Chamber Ensemble 2024 concert at Chestnut Center for the Arts, and Marshfield Area Respite Care Center so they can purchase drums for their drumming circle. This left our grant committee with more funds available for additional applicants! The grants committee awarded grants to Three Bridges Recovery, Child Advocacy Center, Hannah Center, Weekend Meals for Kids in Owen-Withee, Owen-Withee Food Pantry, Huey’s Hideaway, United Way’s Right 2 Play 4 All, HART Equine, and a Leadership Marshfield project to update a volunteer website. These grants are made possible from endowed funds including the Mike Tauschek Fund, the Women’s Giving Circle Fund, the Community Grants Fund, the Senior Endowment Fund, and the Community Foundation’s Forever Fund and Children’s Future Fund. We have over $85,000 available in grant money for 2024! Our next grant cycle opens July 1st.
