The Marshfield Area Community Foundation has completed yet another record-breaking year through the Community Grants program, investing $150,000 in 29 projects in 2026. Continued, growing grants are made possible through donor investment in dedicated, permanently endowed funds: Children’s Future Fund, Community Grants Fund, Kenneth & Ardyce Heiting Fund for Children, Mike Tauschek Fund, Palm Sunday Choral Fund, Senior Fund, and Women’s Giving Circle Fund. Grants were also made through the Foundation’s Forever Fund.
In 2026, half of all community grant awards were given to projects addressing children. Other clear top needs included access to health care, housing, and transportation. All grant applications are reviewed through a structured committee process to ensure transparency, alignment with donor intent, and effective use of resources. Qualified nonprofit organizations may apply for funding to support programs that directly enhance quality of life across the region.
